Questions trades businesses ask
Does Elara give prices or book me in?
No. She takes the caller's name, number, postcode, the job and how urgent they say it is, and tells them you will call back. She never quotes a price you have not given her and never promises a time. You decide what to quote and when to go.
What about emergency call-outs?
Elara notes how urgent the caller says the job is, so when you look at your summaries the burst pipe is easy to spot and call back first. She is a receptionist, not an engineer, and gives no advice about the job itself.
Can I update the photos myself?
Send them to us by email or WhatsApp and we add them within one working day on hosting and care, which includes up to 1 hour of small changes a month. Extra work is quoted in writing before we start.
Will my site show up on Google?
We do the search-engine basics on every page, help you set up your Google Business Profile and write the pages for the areas you work in. No one can promise a position on Google, and we do not.
Do I need a domain name?
Yes, and it is yours. We register it in your name if you do not have one, at cost, and set up business email on it, such as you@yourtrade.co.uk, working on your phone and laptop.
How quickly can I be live?
Elara's line is usually live within a few days of paying. A Business website takes weeks, not months, once we have your photos and details. Your written plan gives the timeline.
